History of the Wauchope BonNy Hills Surf Life Saving Club

The Wauchope Bonny Hills Surf Club was formed in 1928 and first started at Nobbys BeacH in Port Macquarie.

Later in 1958 the club reformed and located to Bartletts beach in Bonny Hills in 1960 there was a relocation to Rainbow Beach for space to host surf carnivals.

In 2010 the new club building was completed and opened ,today it stands as one of the most outstanding club houses on the NSW coast.

Bonnys Beach Cafe stands proudly on top of the surf club and has outstanding views of the coast and Rainbow beach, summer and winter this Cafe is busy with locals ,surf club members and visitors from all over Australia and beyond.

Our menus change from day to day and season to season we source locally, ethically and sustainably where we can, continuing to expand our baked on site creations experimenting further with our dairy products cheeses .Building relationships with suppliers who hold the same enthusiasm and values as our own is expanding as we watch and develop new ideas and trends.
